VO2 MAX TESTING
1hr / £120
The gold standard for assessing your aerobic fitness. We use a state of the art real time on-line gas analysis system (Cosmed Fitmate Pro) to assess your fitness and target training goals.


LACTATE THRESHOLD TESTING
1hr / £100
If you want to train effectively and efficiently then this test provides you with the appropriate intensities that will allow your to maximise your sessions.


NUTRITIONAL ANALYSIS
1hr 30 mins / £60
Nutrition is one of the least well understood areas of training. This consultation will give you an individualised strategy, based on the latest science, to maximise your training and allow you to compete at your optimum level.



FUNCTIONAL THRESHOLD POWER
1hr / £120
Functional threshold power (FTP) is a cycling specific measure and relates to the maximum output that can be produced in an hour. There are many inferential tests but the lactate assessment, similar to the lactate threshold test is the only one that can accurately identify your FTP.





BODY COMPOSITION
1hr / £100
The identification of your body composition (% body fat) can help with goal setting and training plans. The use of Harpenden callipers is the industry standard method for providing accurate feedback.


STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
1hr 30 mins / £60
Tim is an accredited member of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association, a lecturer in Strength and Conditioning and a tutor/assessor for the UKCC. Strategies and advice are bespoke and follow a detailed consultation which identifies your training history and goals.





Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
1hr / £120
How much energy you consume at rest. The standard is 2000kcal for women and 2500kcal of men but this value varies enormously depending on your size, age, fitness and genetics. With a RMR we can accurately set a diet to alter your weight. The test involves the measurement of oxygen consumption while at rest.





Fat Max
1hr / £120
This is the exercise intensity which most efficiently burns fat. This is important for maximising fat loss; but also is the intensity which enhances physiological adaptations to use fat as a fuel during exercise, optimising endurance performance. The test involves exercising for 3 minutes at progressively higher intensities although there is no need to go to exhaustion

This 1-to-1 session will help identify your key goals and the physiological/nutritional support needed.
